About Dakotah

Dakotah has a strong track record in both real estate and public service. He brings 10 years of residential and commercial real estate brokerage experience to the table working in multiple sales and leadership roles.


As a commercial real estate broker, Dakotah helps small businesses and property owners every day to navigate the shifting market. Previously, Dakotah was in residential real estate for 7 years, working his way from sales agent to becoming a designated broker and regional manager overseeing his company’s sales operations across all of Nebraska, Iowa & South Dakota. Committed to elevating the real estate profession, Dakotah has earned the CCIM designation, taught multiple courses on real estate as a UNO adjunct instructor, and served on the Board of Directors for both the Omaha Area Board of Realtors and the Great Plains Regional MLS. Prior to working in real estate, Dakotah worked on public policy in Washington, DC focused on building construction, energy efficiency, and appraisals.


Dakotah is a volunteer firefighter/EMT with Waterloo Fire, serves on the Douglas County Planning Commission, and sits on the board of several other nonprofit organizations, including his daughters’ elementary school PTO. He earned a Masters Degree from The George Washington University and a Bachelors of Science from The University of Texas at Austin. Dakotah and his wife, Mary, are raising their two young daughters in Omaha.
